Past, Present, Future
An exploration of intertwined moments across time, memory, and connection.
Past, Present, Future is a project explores how moments in time—past, present, and future—interweave, shaping our connections to people and places.
The Journey Begins
It started with a 1942 photograph of Mikhail Pavolotsky. That past moment reshaped my present. In sharing it, I invite you to consider—how do places or encounters echo beyond time?
Time in Layers
Past, Present, Future draws from 600 photographs. As you move among them, might the present reframe your past or shift future possibilities?
Exploring Connections
We walk through histories of identity and uprising. My story is a layer, but yours emerges too. How might these experiences bend time for you?
Ongoing Inquiry
This project evolves with each participant. As you engage—whether I’m here or not—new stories unfold. Time is not fixed—how will it speak to you?
A Glimpse Into Time
On our companion site, you’ll find a grid of photographs—each a doorway to a deeper story. Clicking a photo lets you step into its narrative, offering a taste of the project’s layered connections—even from afar.
